Letter to a friend

I cried in the toilets at work today.

I love you and I’m really happy for you but please give me some space for a couple of days.

I know you’ll be a wonderful mum, and hopefully I will too, one day.

Soon I’ll go and buy you a card and the cutest pair of booties.

But for today, I just need some space.
